Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of 01Hush ("the App"), developed by zerox1 ("we", "us"). By downloading or using 01Hush, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

01Hush is a personal AI companion application. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws.

You agree not to use the App to:

• Generate content that is illegal in your jurisdiction
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or distribute the App or its model files
• Use the App in any way that could harm yourself or others

2. Subscriptions and billing

01Hush offers an optional Pro subscription that unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are auto-renewable and are billed through your Apple ID via the App Store.

• Free trial: If a free trial is offered, it will be clearly stated before purchase. Unused trial time is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
• Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation: You can cancel at any time through your Apple ID settings. Access to Pro features continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their App Store policies.
• Price changes: We will notify you of any price changes in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

3. The AI model and content

01Hush uses Google's Gemma 4 language model, which runs entirely on your device. The model is provided under its own license terms by Google DeepMind.

Important: AI responses are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. Do not rely on 01Hush for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. Always verify important information with qualified professionals.

We are not responsible for the content of AI-generated responses. The model runs on your device; we have no visibility into your conversations.

4. 18+ Mode

18+ Mode is a Pro feature that removes content filters for mature and sensitive topics. By enabling this feature, you confirm that:

• You are 18 years of age or older
• You understand the nature of the content that may be generated
• You take responsibility for your use of this feature

Even in 18+ Mode, the App will not generate sexual content involving minors or content that facilitates real-world harm. These limits are non-negotiable and enforced at the model instruction level.

5. Intellectual property

The 01Hush app, its design, and associated assets are owned by zerox1. The underlying Gemma 4 model is owned by Google and used under its applicable license. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works of the App without our written permission.

Content you generate through the App belongs to you. We have no access to it and make no claim over it.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

01Hush is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs. We do not warrant the accuracy of any AI-generated content.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, zerox1 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Changes to the App and Terms

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which zerox1 operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
